Dan is on the run and fate draws him to the south-western tip of Wales, where he looks for a place to stay for a few days. He tries to make contact with the girl he left behind, but unfortunately this only serves to alert the man who has the job of tracking him down. That's his first mistake.

In blissful ignorance, Dan is relieved to find a short-term job which also provides a roof over his head. However he manages to cross swords with the man who dominates the small community where he is sheltering. That's his second mistake.
